If you’re a woman with a big personality, you (and everyone who’s ever met you) will know it. You’re friendly, energetic, and, yes, a bit loud. While your outgoing nature has won you lots of friends, it can also make life difficult at times. If you’re the type of girl who tends to be the center of attention without even trying, you’ve probably had to face these struggles.
- Girls see you as competition. When you have a big personality, you always have the spotlight, and that can be intimidating as hell. Girls act sketchy around you, and when you tell your friends about it, they have no idea what you’re talking about. You don’t mean to be a beam of light in human form — it’s just the way it is. Not sorry.
- Guys find you annoying. You’re not “classically feminine”, and that’s OK. When you get your mouth going, some guys (usually the shy ones) will kind of slink away. They rely on being the funny one in the room, and here you are stealing their glory. Your good sense of humor and wit scares them because, well, it’s better than theirs.
- You argue for fun, but sometimes people think you’re serious. You’re the queen of sarcasm, and nothing is more thrilling to you than a fake argument. You’re basically an internet troll except IRL. Sometimes you find yourself accidentally hurting someone’s feelings. You were just messing around, but it’s too late — they already think you’re a bitch.
- You think you deserve the world but seldom get it. As a girl with a personality that’s larger than life, you expect to be living in a world that caters to you 24/7. You kind of see yourself as a queen and have mastered the art of the humble brag. Life may not be a fairy tale, but we can still dream, right?
- You’re always overdressed. Whether it’s a night out on the town or a book club meeting, you don’t dress to impress — you dress for attention. Sure, it might be embarrassing for some people to show up to their grandmother’s eightieth birthday in a tutu dress and purple highlights, but in your opinion, it’s totally normal. Your personality is bold, and you have a style to match it.
- You can name at least three people who don’t like you. This one kind of hurts. When you exude that much energy, people who don’t like you will feel extremely passionate about it. You’re constantly in their face, and they hate it. Your enemies take their feelings about you very seriously, and you can name at least three people who for sure, 100%, don’t like you. Oh well, it’s their loss.
- It’s nearly impossible to find a guy who can bite back. Finding a guy who can handle a girl like you is incredibly difficult. You’re smart, witty, and quite simply, hilarious. Most guys can’t deal with a girl who likes to bust their balls for fun. If he can stand his ground against your explosive humor and teasing, he’s a keeper.
- People expect you to be the life of the party even when you’re not feeling it. Being as fun as you are, people tend to expect that same level of pep no matter what mood you’re in. It can be difficult to keep up your persona, and you often find yourself drained after a supposedly “fun” party. A part of you sometimes thinks that your friends just keep you around for entertainment.
- People have heard of you before you even meet. Do you tend to hear things like, “I’ve heard so much about you,” or “I think I’ve heard your name before”? Whether it’s good or bad, word about you gets around. The things you say and do have gone down in history. It’s kind of like when you’re family talks about your weird uncle who lived with monkeys in South America. You’re always stirring the crap, so you become a regular topic of conversation.
- Sometimes, your big fat mouth gets you into trouble. There have been times when you blurt out something you thought was completely harmless, only to put someone in tears. You don’t try to be a jerk, but there are times when the filter between your brain and your mouth completely shuts down.
